An image of a Gorilla in the Tropical Forest of Africa

Gorillas are gentle giants and display many human-like behaviors and emotions, such as laughter and sadness. In fact, gorillas share 98.3% of their genetic code with humans, making them our closest cousins after chimpanzees and bonobos. The largest of the great apes, gorillas are stocky animals with broad chests and shoulders, large, human-like hands, and small eyes set into hairless faces.

Streetfoods in the Philippines

My name is Romel Arriesgado from G12 Cayenne In this Filipino street food guide, I’m going to share with you 21 popular street food snacks that you’ll find all over Manila and throughout the Philippines. Another giant of Filipino street food, and popular throughout Manila is kwek kwek. Again, you’ll need to season them with vinegar, chilies, and onions, before eating for the best taste. Kwek kwek is kind of like a corndog, but with a quail inside instead of a hot dog.

Tropical illnesses

Dismissed tropical illnesses (NTDs) are a significant reason for death, handicap, and monetary difficulty around the world, especially in low-and center pay nations. While large numbers of these illnesses are focused on for control, end, or destruction by 2030, accomplishing those objectives will be trying because of disturbances to programs connected with the Coronavirus pandemic and contrasts in sickness transmission across districts, which requires fitting mediations to neighborhood settings.

Mananangal

Myths & Legends To feed, the self-segmenter chooses an isolated place where she will leave her lower torso while she hunts at night. When she separates from her lower torso, she then gains her ability to fly. She then goes off in search of houses where pregnant women reside. Upon choosing a suitable victim, the Manananggal alights on the house and inserts her tongue through the roof. The tongue is long, hollow and extremely flexible. She uses it to puncture the womb of the sleeping woman and to suck out the fetus. At other times, She usually eats the insides, like the heart, stomach or the liver. In some stories, the Wakwak and/or the Sigbin are kept by them as either pets or servants. Appearance The Manananggal is described as being an older, beautiful woman capable of severing its upper torso in order to fly into the night with huge bat-like wings and prey on unsuspecting, sleeping pregnant women in their homes.
