
Benazir bhutto
Benazir Bhutto was a Pakistani politician who served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan twice; from 1988 to 1990 and then again from 1993 to 1996. She was the first woman to head a Muslim majority country. She was the leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), one of the two major political parties in Pakistan. Bhutto was a controversial figure in Pakistan, and her government was plagued by corruption allegations. She was assassinated in 2007 during an election campaign rally in Rawalpindi. Her death was a major blow to the PPP and to the country, and led to widespread protests and unrest.
