8. One of our major challenges in Liberia is lack of Investment in the Agricultural Sector.

Back To The Soil: Investing In Sustainable Mechanized Rice Farming In Rural areas.

As we strive to buttress government's efforts in addressing pertinent issues regarding our staple food 'RICE', we have embarked upon sustainable mechanized rice farming activities in rural areas.

This will involve the use of farm implements such as: tractors, power tillers, combined harvester, threshers, fertilizers, pesticides amongst others.

Clearing and land preparations as well.

As a Leader of this Organization, I strongly believe that returning to the soil to grow what we eat is the best long term solution to ending our rice crisis/ food insecurity.

This farming activities will create job/employment, training opportunities for hundreds of people.

With our trained agriculturists, we have no doubt that they will provide their expertises to yield the desired results_ especially with the rich soil we have. To end rice scarcity, we must return to the soil and grow what we eat instead of import what we eat. We can't keep importing rice when we have rich soil.
