Prince Bassey Otu, to embarked on a transformative project at the Calabar Golf Club. The recent directive to fence, establish a security post, and renovate the club's dilapidated structures signals a new era for golf in the region.

Under the guidance of Hon. Agnes Atsu, the honorable commissioner of Sports Development, a team comprising the permanent secretary Mr. Sam Egbala, HOD SAEAD, and the Secretary in charge of golf, conducted a thorough assessment of the club. The visit, which took place yesterday, included discussions with the club's management led by Maj. Gen. Sabo and Mr. Patrick Ewara.

During the visit, a significant moment occurred when the club management bestowed automatic club membership upon Hon. Agnes A. Atsu, recognizing her dedication to the revitalization efforts. This strategic move aims to position the Calabar Golf Club as a premier destination for national and international competitions, drawing in golf lovers and tourists alike.
