EATING HEALTHFULLY! DIVINE LIVING! (Achieving optimal health)
Food is a basic human need. The creation account in the bible tells us that the grass, herb yielding seed and tree yielding fruits (Gen 1:11-12) which later became food for man (Gen 1: 29) were already in existence before man was created (Gen1: 27). These foods were made by God for our benefit. "The fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine," Ezekiel 47:12 says. In light of this, there is a substantial connection between our health or general well-being and the food we eat.
The sort of food we consume is a crucial element that impacts and determines everyone's health. Therefore, "you are what you eat" is a saying. This claim implies that we have a lot of power over our health. By smoking, drinking, or eating poorly, we can harm our bodies. According to 1 Corinthians 3:16, the body is the temple of the spirit of God, and we should use our bodies to praise God (1 Cor. 6:20).
A substance that, when consumed, maintains life and health is referred to as food. It can also be referred as as any edible substance with nourishing and nutritious components, typically originating from an animal or plant. No material can be referred to as food if it doesn't include any nutrients as all foods (and drinks) from plants and animals contain a variety of nutrients.
