THE NEED FOR ESCHEWING CONFLICT.

Conflict is part of life. Some of our views and opinions will differ from others.

What is more, when people with different background, values, education and lifestyles live or work together, differences and conflict can occur.Besides, there is no society, community, organisation or interpersonal relationship which does not go through a conflict situation at some time. The Need for Eschewing Conflict cannot be overstated. Therefore, it is significant for all persons in the world to gain knowledge of conflict resolution and peace building.

Remember that the ways in which people handle their social environments are even more varied than their economic adaptations. Maybe to you, some of the ways of others are more bizarre and exotic.

These people whom you see their ways as strange also look upon your behaviour as odd, sometimes inhuman and barbaric, and often childlike.

This should tell you that what seems to us to be strange is everyday, common- sense, and rational conduct to the people who follow these practices. It is best to accept and tolerate the practices and views of others. Do not talk against anyone instead, remember the Need for Eschewing Conflict outweighs the benefits of conflict.

How do we eschew conflict?

Food for thought- A word to the wise is enough!

Don’t forget that the mind works in a dialectical fashion. It involves a continual process of sorting perceptions into paired opposites, which are then reconciled. But the unfortunate truth is that we chop up and distort the flow of reality of this process. We fracture and break up our perceptions forgetting that words and language are the only ways in which we can think of our world and by which we can communicate these thoughts to others.

And Love and dependency are at once our strength and weaknesses. For they may be expressed in conflict and social inequality, as well as in solidarity and oneness.

Please be careful of what you chase, for what opened Adam’s eyes , closed Sampson’s eyes.

Remember that, all individuals, in all societies, operate with an understanding of who they are and what they are like, who and what certain other people are like, and what humans in general are like. Look, these notions may be wrong, but they at least provide stable points of view in the tricky strategies of everyday life; but it is also for this reason that people cling too desperately to even the most stupid of prejudices. In all things, common sense must be used!

Everybody has an achieved status. For example, a beggar has an achieved status just as much as an aviator or an aviatrix (a female pilot); it is just a position that one wins, or is cursed with, through the chances of life. We were all equal in nature, until we began to think that wealth has classified us .

Synoptically, in all our interactions, common sense, love, tolerance, not being jealous and then treating everybody equally must be used. A reference to Lao Tzu’s quote: “Water is the softest thing, yet it can penetrate mountains and earth. This shows clearly the principle of softness overcoming hardness. In all things, let us be nonchalant. Let us all see as critical the need for eschewing conflict”.
