Twelve years ago today, in September 2010, when there was a flood in Pakistan, the famous actress Angelina Jolie, the ambassador of the United Nations, visited Pakistan to determine the aid of Pakistan.

On her return, Angelina Jolie presented her report to the United Nations in which Pakistan was very excited. I think it is important to mention some important things in the report.

He wrote in his report that I was deeply saddened to see when in front of me the influential people of the government were not allowing the flood victims to meet me by pushing them away.

I was further hurt when the Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed his desire and forced me to relieve their anxiety, despite my refusal, the Prime Minister's family came from Multan to meet me. I came to Islamabad in a special plane and also brought valuable gifts for me. and this food was enough for several hundred people who were eager to get from our team by pushing each other for just a bag of flour and a small bottle of water.

I was surprised that on one side there was hunger, poverty and misery and on the other side the splendor of the Prime Minister's House and many government buildings, the pomp and show of the rulers, was enough to surprise the Europeans.

Angelina Jolie advised the United Nations to force Pakistan to end royal protocol, extravagance and wasteful spending before seeking aid.

Throughout this visit, Angelina Jolie preferred to stay away from Pakistani media and photo sessions.

It has been 12 years since this report and the reputation of Pakistan has been damaged in the whole world, but we are still following the same path, the situation is still the same, the voters are dying of hunger and the rulers continue to forget. Yes, these rulers have been buying consciences for billions of rupees during the regime change, but they do not have a single penny to give to the people.
