HAPPY MAN
Ona scorching and dry noon
That looks so innocent like an infant,
I sat wryly and gentle on a stool,
Nodding with a pale face in a saloon
Swayed away by tunes so pleasant
Something digressed the atmosphere
Into a state of malady
That made every being fidget:
A sharp and tiny sound like trumpet
Bleeding into the air,
Welcoming fear
I peeked out anxiously
Tiptoeing sheepishly
Craning my neck to gaze at the unknowns
Outside the street were living bones
Dancing vigorously with placards in hands
Shouting to the fullest
Obnoxious of the beads of sweats
Laced around their neck
Up and down they merry
with a boldly written words:
"VOTE FOR THE MAN THAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY"
In a colourful banner, so much lengthy
I stood expectantly to see who was who
Verily!
It was a black monkey
with a native cap lying lazily
on his crooked head like a pear
He was in an iron horse with four wheels
Wads of notes soaring in the air freely
And black bones began bumping on each other
Even little one's speedily ran to fetch for it
I wept within
It hurt more than a ear-spliting sirene
The Happy man promised only today
To wash our tomorrow away
He gave them hope of now
Blindfolding monarchs with robust cow
This is indeed the Happy man
That disrupted my happiness
This is indeed the Happy man
That killed ruthlessly my finesse
They that ushered him in to the throne
Will have themselves to blame all alone!
