「82歳の講師」が教壇に立つ深刻すぎる教員不足、教員の自己犠牲で成り立つ公立学校は崩壊寸前

　教員の精神疾患による病気休職者数は1990年からの20年間で約5倍に増え、高止まりが続く。休職者が増えると残った教員の業務負担が増え、心身ともに疲弊した教員の休職がさらに増えるというドミノ倒しが起きかねない。

　毎日受験指導をさせてもらっているが、最近の生徒の学力の低下が甚だしい。少子化で生徒数が減って学校の統廃合が止まらない。人数が少ないのだから、競争が以前ほど激しくない。定員割れを起こす高校や大学は「名前さえ書けば合格する」と揶揄される始末だ。

 　名古屋大学の内田良教授らが2021年11月に公立の小中学校教員に実施したアンケート調査によると、所定の労働時間を超えて学校や自宅で行う「総時間外勤務」の合計値が、過労死ラインとされる月80時間を超えている教員は、小学校で59.8％、中学校では74.4％にも上っていた。

　それに、モンスターペアレントの問題。少子化というのは、一人っ子が増えてきたとも言える。親の愛情が集中するのでワガママになりがちで、そんなヤル気の無い生徒を難関校に合格させるようにモンスター化した親が迫る。

　教員志願者数の減少は深刻だ。教員養成大学の雄として知られる東京学芸大学に衝撃が走ったのは2020年3月のこと。教員養成系学部の卒業生のうち、教員になった割合が55％にとどまったのだ。

　生徒はそんな混乱した学校の実業を知っている。教員志望の生徒は減り続けて、教員採用試験の倍率は下がり続ける。つまり、教員の質の低下が甚だしい。それを一番よく知っているのが生徒たちなのだ。

　日本経済を支えた優秀な学者、技術者、経営者は日本社会から消えつつある。

　Besides, there is the problem of monster parents. The declining birthrate can be said to mean that the number of only-children is increasing. Since parents' love is concentrated, they tend to be selfish, and monster parents are pressing such yarnsome students to pass into difficult schools.

　Students know the real business of such a disorganized school. The number of students who want to become teachers continues to decline, and the percentage of students who take the teacher employment exam continues to fall. In other words, the quality of the teaching profession has declined tremendously. It is the students who know this best.

　The excellent scholars, engineers, and managers who supported the Japanese economy are disappearing from Japanese society.
