「京大医学部４名合格講師」による受験対策講座（１２７）

「佐鳴予備校」のテレビCMが目立ってきた

　三重県には「鈴鹿えいすう」という巨大な塾があるので「佐鳴予備校」のテレビCMが多く流れてきても違和感がある。近所にないからだ。ネットでチェックしたら生徒総数が６万人を突破と書いてある。

　小学生から高校生までと書いてあるから、単純平均したら1学年５千人となるけれど受験生（小学６年、中学３年、高校３年）は平均より多いはずだから１学年１万人近くいることになる。

　２０２２年度の「東大理Ⅲ」の合格者が４名と書いてある。１万人くらい生徒がいたら合格率は0.04%だが、大々的に書くほどスゴイことなのだろうか？99.96%の生徒はそのレベルに達することが出来ないということだ。

　関東の最難関が「東大理Ⅲ」なら、関西の最難関は「京大医学部」。私は過去に京大医学部の合格者を４名指導したことがある。でも、６万人も生徒がいる巨大予備校のようなテレビCMを流すお金はないからね。知名度が無くても選んでもらえるからいい。

　三重県最大の「鈴鹿えいすう」の京大医学部の合格者は昨年も今年も（ホームページの発表によると）「０名」のようです。

　　In Mie Prefecture, there is a huge cram school called "Suzuka Eisu", so it is strange to see many TV commercials of "Sanaru Prep School". This is because it is not in my neighborhood. When I checked on the Internet, I found that the total number of students has exceeded 60,000.

　The number of students from elementary school to high school is written, so a simple average would be 5,000 students per grade. Therefore, there are nearly 10,000 students per school year.

　It says that the number of students who passed the "University of Tokyo Science III" in the academic year 2022 is 4. It means that 99.96% of the students cannot reach that level.

　If the most difficult entrance exam in Kanto is "Tokyo University Science III," the most difficult exam in Kansai is "Kyoto University School of Medicine. In the past, I have guided four students to pass the Kyoto University School of Medicine. But I don't have the money to run TV commercials like a huge prep school with 60,000 students. It is good that they choose us even if we are not well-known.

　It seems that "Suzuka Eisu," the largest in Mie Prefecture, has "0" students who passed the Kyoto University School of Medicine both last year and this year (according to the announcement on its website).
