  受験生の中には試験で失敗してヒドイ点数を取ると

「もうアカン」

　と志望校を諦めてランクを落とす子が多い。それはそれで一つの選択なので私は否定しない。

　ただ、受験生の中にはその失敗の原因をよく考えて日々の勉強の方法を改善し続ける生徒もいる。そういう生徒は、試験の失敗を認めずに教訓とするタイプの人間だ。人生はどんな天才的な人でも連戦連勝とは行かない。行ってはいけないと思う。

　勝ち続けるということは、学びが少ない。失敗してこそ教訓が得られる。

　信長、秀吉、家康と並べてみると、圧倒的に信長の天才性が際立つ。一番地味で凡才なのは家康だろう。実際、信長が生きている間は家康は信長の言いなりだった。家康は秀吉を打ち倒すことが出来ないので、秀吉が亡くなるのを待つしかなかった。

　しかし、誰が最終的な勝利者になったのかは歴史の示すとおりだ。

　and give up on the school of their choice and drop down the ranks. I do not deny that this is a choice.

　However, there are some students who think carefully about the causes of their failure and continue to improve their daily study methods. Such students are the type of people who do not accept their exam failures but take them as lessons learned. Life does not go on a winning streak for any genius. I don't think they should.

　Winning continuously means that you don't learn much. It is only through failure that lessons are learned.

　If we put Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu side by side, Nobunaga's genius stands out by far. The most humble and mediocre genius would be Ieyasu. In fact, Ieyasu was at Nobunaga's beck and call during Nobunaga's lifetime. Ieyasu could not overthrow Hideyoshi, so he had to wait for Hideyoshi to die.

　But history  showｓ who the eventual victor was.
