  私の知っている人が

「私は今までに自分以上に賢い人に会ったことがない」

　と言った。そういう考え方をする生徒の学力は伸び続けることはない。

　昔の人が言うように

「実るほど頭が下がる稲穂かな」

　のように、謙虚な思いが無く慢心しては成長はそこで止まる。

　私の塾でも生徒の１割ほどしか受けていない模試で

「私は三重県で２番です」

　と言ってくる生徒は、大抵の場合は１年も経たないうちに自分が凡才であることを悟ることが多い。

Someone I know said.

"I have never met anyone smarter than I am."

　He said. Students who think that way will not continue to grow academically.



　As the old saying goes.

 "The more you harvest, the lower your head will fall.

　If you are proud without humility, your growth will stop there.



　At my cram school, only about 10% of the students take the mock exam.

　In my cram school, students who say "I am the second best in Mie Prefecture" in a mock exam that only 10% of the students take usually realize that they are mediocre within a year.
