The best asset or ultimate resource as it were is not money or time, it is knowledge.

Knowledge about certain things puts you ahead of others who "do not know".

Knowledge saves you from a lot/protects you from missing out on certain things.

The saying that "knowledge is power" shouldn't be taken for granted. You never know the full import until you open your mind to knowing/learning.

Prioritize learning today especially concerning things you feel you don't need. Know a little about everything . You'd be amazed at how much you know and have grown. You'd be amazed at the kind of intellectual prowess you weigh.

Whether it is actively/passively, KNOW! LEARN!

The worst thing you can do is to leverage on the popular notion that "what you don't know, will not know you".

On the contrary, what you don't know, CAN know you and may in fact, kill you. There is no bliss in ignorance. I'd give you an example with one of my numerous life's experiences.

Before I had a personal, one -on-one encounter with a narcissist, I had always come across that word. But each time I saw it, I'd only skim through it on a surface level. I wasn't intrigued because, I believed it didn't concern me.

In hindsight though, I believe if I had given it the kind of attention proportional to the frequency with which it kept coming across to me like a sign, I'd have saved myself from a lot.

What's the takeaway from this blog post?

Don't be too conceited.

Don't say " can never be me...can never happen to me"

Well, it may or may not. But with the right knowledge and the practical application of that knowledge which is wisdom itself, you're sure to traverse a lot of life's doings within your control!
