They always say that when a student falls in love or starts a relationship while still in school it affects his or her studies but according to Jin it all depends on the students attitude, the first week was hard for Jin to concentrate on her studies with the question of what if Cole decided to go back to Kashy, remember in school students are not allowed to carry their phones so Jin had no way of communicating with Cole, 'what if Cole got tired of waiting for me?' 'what if he decided to move on because after all it was my fault of being in a relationship with a man who is already dating' Jin kept on asking herself but whether she liked it or not she had to bring her mind back to school.

First term went by slowly but at last halfterm break came about and Jin had to go back home to rest for a few days before coming back to school, her thoughts and relationship had not affected her studies like people always say. When she reached home she decided not to text Cole because maybe just maybe Cole had moved on in a relationship with another woman or he is still with Kashy.

After two days Jin decided to call Cole because she was going to go back to school in a few days, “Hey Jin, I know you came back two days ago but why did you not call me? “ Cole complained. “I am sorry, but how did you know I came back two days ago yet you are not around, who told you? “Jin asked. “Mmmh don't worry about that “Cole said, “No I mean it I want to know who told you, “Jin demanded. “Okay Jin it was Charlotte your friend and neighbor she told me that you were back from school, Cole said. That was the most depressing answer Jin had ever received because after all Charlotte Jins neighbor had finished high school and she was at home, she could talk to Cole at any time she wants, Jin felt like her heart had been broken for the first time not knowing that this is nothing compared to what she will get in the near future.

Jin hated that Cole was getting close to another woman who happened to be one of her friends, and trust me Jin was stupid to trust Cole blindly after all Cole and Charlotte were just friends or at least that's what she thought . Jin did not even stop to think for a moment that Cole left Kashy for her and he could leave her anytime for Charlotte, she was blinded by love or maybe she was stupid in love. And as the days went by she fell deeply and deeply in love with Cole and she could not stop herself.

When Jin met with Charlotte she decided not to talk about Cole with her because after all she already hated the fact that Cole adn her friend were getting close. They talked like they usually did and Jin went back home. Jin was scared to lose Cole she thought that if she said she does not like how close Cole was getting with Charlotte then he was going to leave her, Cole was Jins first love and she could not lose that for anything in the world.

Halfterm break came to an end and Jin had to go back to school, she was great full that Cole was not at home during this break because she did not have much to think about although she missed him and the time they spend together, maybe Jin was naive at this age because after all she had just turned 19 years old that month. She did not think for a moment that Cole was a man and men are weak sexually, she did not think for a moment that Cole may have another woman in the town that he was. She trusted him.

Two months later the schools were closed and Jin was back home and this time round for a month, she went to visit Charlotte and Charlotte kept on talking about Cole though it her uncomfortable she did not suspect anything, as I said earlier Jin was so naive. As they were talking Charlotte phone rang and she picked, “Hello Cole, I am with Jin here" Charlotte said, Jim did not think that maybe her friend had just warned Cole not to talk anything that could have outed them, she passed the phone over to Jin, “Cole wants to talk to you “ she said. Jin had small talks with Cole, Cole telling her that was was coming soon, this made Jin very happy because she had missed him.

After a week Cole came back to his home and that evening Jin met with him, “Hey Jin I really missed you “Cole said. Jin and Cole kissed again while the sun was setting and that made Jin forget about Charlotte and all the bad feelings she had. This time around Cole came with his sister Jasmine, she was a very beautiful woman and Jin thought that maybe they could be friends one day. Cole only stayed for a few days and went away. Although Jin was sad she could not stop him from going because Cole had to work.

School days suck but one has to study, Jin went back for the second term and this time she talked about Cole to her best friend Doreen, Doreen was a very polite lady and she loved her friend very much, she was happy for Jin and the fact that she had gotten herself a boyfriend at last. They studied well that term and after three months of Jin not talking to Cole, school holidays came again.
