On the other hand, in order to create personality (in the sense of fluidity) and sympathy in Dr. Nide, Kurosawa has given red beards contrasting and somewhat contradictory personality traits.

For example, considering the difference between Dr. Nideh’s behavior and treatment with lots and his treatment with Otoyo! Isn’t it true that both groups are in some way red-beard patients?!

Or consider the different treatment of the red beard by the rich and the poor (Robin Hood-like treatment in the form of stabbing the rich and helping the poor)! Isn’t Red Beard dealing with both groups?!

But since Dr. Nideh’s personality is clearly defined and, more importantly, he has a story, not only do the mentioned personality traits not only create a bit of contradiction in the essence of Red Beard’s personality, but they also provide the means to create a fluid and attractive personality.
