Ukraine's official websites, which have been down in recent weeks due to cyber attacks claimed on Kyiv, were down again on Wednesday. The websites of Ukraine's parliament, cabinet, and foreign ministry were all hacked.

Warnings of an invasion have been dismissed by Moscow as anti-Russian hysteria. It took down the flags from its embassy in Kyiv on Wednesday after ordering its diplomats to depart for safety reasons.

In the last 24 hours, pro-Russian separatists used heavy artillery, mortar bombs, and Grad rocket systems to bombard the two breakaway districts, killing one soldier and wounding six others, according to Ukraine's military.

Russia claims the situation is a conflict with the West, and it is demanding security guarantees, including a pledge that Ukraine will never join NATO.
