NFSC Honors Senator Adefuye as Ambassador in Recognition of His Contribution to Sports.
The Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) bestowed the title of Ambassador upon Sen. Anthony Ogungbemi Adefuye during a ceremony held at his Lekki Peninsula residence in Lagos. The club’s chairman, Reverend Samuel Ikpea, conducted the ceremony and commended Adefuye’s dedication to sports and his efforts in advancing football in the state.
Addressing the attendees, the senator expressed his gratitude to the NFSC members and pledged his unwavering support. Despite his background in Sprinting and Swimming, he affirmed his backing for the Nigeria Football Federation and all national teams.
Furthermore, he emphasized the need for the NFF to invest in football and secure a competent coach for the Super Eagles to succeed in the upcoming AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire.
