Most job vacancies accepting senior high grads offer minimum wage work — DOLE
MANILA, Philippines — Just around 1% of occupation opening in the Branch of Work and Business' K-12 work fair in 2022 went to senior secondary school graduates, an authority said on Monday, with most work accessible to them restricted to the assistance business.
Give Undersecretary Carmela Torres told the Senate higher, specialized and professional training panel on Monday that senior secondary school graduates landed only 116 out of the 9,000 work opportunities promoted through its December 2022 work fair, while the rest went to candidates with higher instructive foundations.
