Cecily shares a Scripture verse, a short real life story, a few application questions, and a prayer on point to the message. These devotions are like a hug from a friend to encourage you to persevere in the journey of raising girls (and even boys). This would be great to use while in a pick up line.   Review: I follow Cecily on her BoomClap podcast & am always so encouraged & inspired by how she brings God’s word into everyday conversations with such faith & wisdom. I received an advance review copy of her new devotional book Raising Girls & I would highly recommend it. Each devotion is applicable to anyone, not just girl moms, but I love how she incorporates a practical application for us & our daughters each day in the ‘Let’s Reflect’ section. The Take Action step gives great tips on how to incorporate biblical values & truths into our parenting & how we can use the verses to encourage our daughters.
  
  The book layout is so pretty too, and the devotions are short enough to fit into even the busiest day.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the busyness of motherhood, but having a daily dose of reminders of our purpose as we care for our children is what we all need. God is with us, we’re not alone and this book can help us focus on the bigger picture of our role as mothers to our daughters. The take action piece gives intention to not just set the book down after reading, but to take it a step further.   Review: Following Cecily on Instagram and listening to her podcast I was very excited to read this book. She has such a passion for her faith and has such a calming way of sharing it with others. This book has helped me understand that I am like all other moms out there with children who need a little reminder that we are good moms. In todays 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 it is hard to raise little ones, but Cecily’s book helps remind us the importance of our faith and passing it on to our children to help guide them with we are unsure.   Review: So thankful to have received this advance copy. After following Cecily on Instagram and listening to her podcast I was so excited to hear she was coming out with a devotional. It has definitely met my expectations. Each day I get gentle reminders of God's provision to us as moms. It was never a road we were meant to walk alone. As a mom to a 6 yo girl I am loving this but as a mom also to 11 and 14 yo boys I am still pulling nuggets of truth out that are applicable for my boys too.

  Review: I love starting my day out with this devotional. As a mother of two daughters (1 and 3), I am always looking for ways to incorporate faith into their day, as my well as mine. This devotional uses worldly examples with applicable Bible verses to relay a concept that always points to Jesus, motherhood, and our girls. I love the thoughtful questions at the end of the devotion and the interactive task that pertains to the message and turns words into action. Overall I give this devotional 10/10 and will be buying for my fellow girl mamas as gifts! What a wonderful way to start off the day and involve our precious daughters in His word and our devotions.
