I cried for help

Hoping someone would hear me

But to no avail

I received no response

I closed my eyes

Trying to wake up from this tormenting nightmare

Hoping to see the light

When my eyes are opened

For the first time in forever

I have never felt so helpless and alone

I couldn't bear the silence anymore

So I started shouting

I ran out of breath

Thinking maybe I was about to die

At that point I couldn't think of anything more

Than to end my life
